HEARTLAND BUILDERS IS A ONE-OF-A-KIND CUSTOM HOME BUILDER.

Our company began building spec homes in 1997 in Greenville, Michigan. As we progressed to building custom homes, we built in Belding, Rockford, Ada, and Lowell. Before we knew it, we had expanded our service map to all of West Michigan because that’s where our clients asked us to build their dream homes.

We are proud of how we’ve evolved, and we are especially proud that our core focus has remained the same as it has always been…To inspire our clients.

I would recommend Heartland Builders to anyone interested in building a home. They were open in communication with everything. Stayed on schedule and actually finished the home a week early! The ribbon cutting to hand over the keys at the end was a nice touch.

Our build turned out to be far more challenging than expected with many obstacles along the way. Heartland was there with us every step of the way to make our dream a reality. They always had our back . Some issues came up with the neighbors during the process but they went out of their way to ensure our new neighbors’ issues were taken care of quickly and equitably. We have already recommended them to our friends considering a tear down just down the way from us!

Overall we would recommend Heartland as a builder. They had good processes for each step. When we didn’t have enough in house options, we were given external options/stores to go to. (Example: kitchen cabinets). When we discovered an issue during the build, they were quick to provide a resolution.

Heartland Builders took a multi-team approach. I enjoyed working with everyone on all of the teams. I found that the professionals that they employ are very communicative and take pride in the work that they do. During the time for the warranty, they did an excellent job of explaining and getting the items done perfectly. This was a very enjoyable experience.

We have really enjoyed the build process with Heartland. Project management and communication were excellent! We had some issues come up, but the team (Steve in particular) jumped on those issues to make sure they were handled correctly! Communication, organization/project management and integrity were the most important characteristics we looked for in a builder, and Heartland did not disappoint!
